Parnell Festival of Roses 2013

Come celebrate spring’s arrival with the Parnell Festival of Roses at this free weekend event, where all adults and kids are welcome. Happening at the Parnell Rose Gardens on Saturday 16th November and Sunday 17th November 2013, 10:30am – 4pm, there are various activities including food & market stalls which are sure to tempt you!

The famous Ruud “The BugMan” Kleinpaste will be speaking, accompanied by a NZSL interpreter. His talks are on Saturday 16th November at 12pm-1pm and 2:30pm-3:30pm, and on Sunday 17th November at 2pm-3pm.

Recently, Deafradio sent out their flash new-look newsletter with more detailed content, replacing previous newsletters.

Deafradio’s news will be regularly sent out with various information, including: recent NZSL videos that Government departments and organisations have asked Seeflow to translate; upcoming events or information that is of interest; and updates from Deafradio’s hub projects such as SignDNA and Multichannel Media, and any Deafradio announcements.

Occasionally, they may include announcements from the Government, seeking submissions/feedback from the Deaf community on various topics. You will be able to give feedback/make submissions via Seeflow NZSL Direct.

All of Deafradio’s news and updates will be accessible in NZSL.

Newsletters are sent out to email addresses on Deafradio’s database, which is comprised of email addresses received either by submitters emailing hello@deafradio.co.nz (with ‘subscribe’ as the subject), or visiting www.seeflow.co.nz and entering their email address to subscribe to our news. If you wish to subscribe to Deafradio’s news, simply follow either method.

The Deafradio team is looking forward to providing the Deaf community with ongoing updates and interesting information in NZSL!

The Seeflow team brings you the latest update! Recently we had a competition where people who signed up to receive news from Seeflow via our website, their email address would go into a draw to win a Samsung tablet.
