The Constitution Conversation is a chance for all New Zealanders to share their aspirations for our country and how they want Aotearoa New Zealand to be run in the future.
An independent panel want to hear your thoughts over a range of constitutional issues; there are guidance questions for you to consider when making your submission. The topics this Conversation are focusing on are:
- New Zealand’s Constitution
- The Bill of Rights
- Treaty of Waitangi
- Maori Representation
- Electoral Matters
- Other Issues
Your feedback will help the Panel put together their recommendations over how these documents are used in the future.
The key questions asked are: What are your aspirations for Aotearoa NZ? How do you want our country to be run in the future?
Submissions are currently open, and will close on
1st July at 5pm. You can make a submission in NZSL using Seeflow NZSL Direct, for free.
UPDATE: The deadline has now been extended to Wednesday 31st July 2013. Watch the NZSL translation for more information.
